Got my new tablet and tested it with a little still life! (I really hate FOLDS GRRR they look like shit.) this is a side mirror we had lying around.

sketch shizzleness

AHHH an update lol. My tablet isn't working anymore so for now I'll have to stick to traditional media I guess. I really don't know when I'll be able to buy a new tablet. So I bought a sketchbook some weeks ago, but I have to say that I don't really like it! Every time I sketch something, the sketch "smears" over the sketch on the opposite sheet. :/ So I think I'll just use big ass papersheets instead!

So I tried to draw the female body out of my head (because I think copying from a photo or something similiar isn't really helpful) and I seriously don't like the results LOL. Especially tits are hard to draw jeeez.
so blablabla I don't know what to say anymore lol don't expect much updates for the next weeks *misses the tablet OTL* .

After I drew the fruits from life, I wanted to try a human face. So my best friend Jessi visited me ..AT NIGHT LOL. But in the end I'm still too slow and human faces are too hard for me so I guess I have to practice some more on "dead things". Also it was hard for her to sit straight all the time OTL I'M SO SORRY. So in the end I tried to somehow finish the life drawing with a photograph, but in the end I had no motivation to finish it completely, because I really wanted to draw her 100% from life. It was a nice study, though. I guess I have to practice it first, with my own face! (In reallife she's 398743346 times more pretty LOL )

Tried a self portrait from life, and it doesn't even look like me. Also my photoshop didn't work properly in the end and couldn't save..AGAIN (I guess I need more Internal memory). So I'll leave it unfinished.

Oh my god first time I drew something from life. OH MY GOD I'LL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN. Some sloppy parts because I got lazy <:/

So I wanted to start painting in Photoshop CS 5 in 2013. And I also wanted to work on my portraits, especially the shading of faces. So this is the result - I THINK it's quite okay for my first try in photoshop. And it didn't even take that long ( I think one evening). I have to say I kinda fell in love with photoshop a little bit LOL but it's still hard to get used to it. There are still a lot of sloppy parts and anatomical mistakes LOL (my mom said stuff like her face looks weird, her head is too small, the necks too long and also weird etc. OTL) also I still need to paint more clean :/ . Anyways I hope you like it!!
